An award-winning Animation Director and Creative Director based in Manchester, Karl has over two decades of experience across branding, advertising, motion design and animated storytelling. For the past 10 years, he has led Flow — a creative studio specialising in design-led animation for brands, agencies and purpose-driven organisations worldwide, directing animated films and overseeing the creative vision across every project from concept to delivery. Before moving into animation, Karl spent eight years running a marketing agency before retraining in traditional frame-by-frame animation and specialising in motion design, later spending five years working with leading creative and advertising agencies to develop a collaborative approach rooted in strong ideas, craft and storytelling.
